Alice Murdoch maintains her studio in Burlington, Vermont. She has studied at the University of Vermont, the Vermont Studio Center, and the Art Students League in New York. Among the numerous important group exhibitions she has participated in are the Stratton Arts Festival, the Fleming Museum Invitational, the Copley Society of Boston juried exhibitions, and the "Art for AIDS" invitational at Bennington College. Solo exhibitions have been mounted at the Passepartout Gallery in Burlington, Frame of Mind Gallery, Winooski, Firehouse Gallery, Burlington, and the Howard Bank, North Avenue Branch, Burlington. Her paintings are in private and corporate collections throughout the United States. |
